FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Much Does The Camp Cost?
The only fee that is charged is a $20.00 applicatoin fee per family.
This includes all activities, the speakers, and dinner throughout
the four day weekend. Of course, our expenses are greater than this,
so if God has given you the resources, you may send a donation with
your application or contribute to the donation box at the camp.

What Accomodations Are Available?
You will be responsible for making your own camp site or hotel arrangements.
There are several options available. You may camp at Walnut Point State
Park, where the camp is located, or at Hebron Hills Campground. Both
venues have full restroom and shower facilites, with water and electrical
hook up available.

You may also make reservations at a local hotel. The Arcola Comfort Inn
is twenty minutes away and the Tuscola Holiday Inn Express is twenty five
minutes away.

How Old Should My Son Be?
Every year, we have sons attending ranging in age from as young as
three to as old as twenty five. There are activities available that
are appropriate for each age group.

What Will The Weather Be Like?
The average daytime temperature is 60 degrees, with temperatures
dropping to 40 degrees at night.

What Meals Are Provided?
While we provide dinner each evening, you are responsible for all of
your other meals. You may either bring your own food or eat at the
concession located at Walnut Point State Park. The following dinner
menus are planned:

Thursday
Hot Dogs, Chips and S'mores
Friday
Hamburgers, Brats, Chips,
Baked Beans, Corn, Cookies and Cupcakes
Saturday
Fish, Baked Potato, Roll, Green Beans
Applesauce, Dessert

Are the Activites Included?
What Activites Are Available?
On Friday and Saturday afternoons, you will have the option of
participating in the canoe and kayack trip, fishing derby, paddleboat
races, paintball course, or the rifle and archery range. There are also
great hiking and biking paths available at the park. All activities are
included.
Should I Bring My Own Paintball Equipment?
Yes, bring your own paintball equipment. If you do not own any, you
may rent full equipment for $20.00 per afternoon.

Should I Bring My Own Gun or Bow?
For safety reasons, we ask that you do not bring any firearms or archery
equipment. We will provide all equipment for the rifle and archery
range.

What Should I Bring?
If you plan to camp, bring everything you would need for a weekend
in the outdoors: a tent or camper, sleeping bag, pillows, lanterns
or flash lights, etc. We will provide firewood and drinking water
is available on site.
